Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms describe how recurring subscriptions to WoW Toolbox premium features and content libraries work. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Available plans
We offer the following recurring plans (current pricing and features are shown in-app at checkout):
- Monthly — billed every month at the listed price.
- Yearly — billed every twelve months at the listed price, typically at a discount versus the monthly rate.
- Other plans we may introduce, each with its own listed billing cycle and price.
2. Billing cycle and renewal
Your billing cycle begins on the day you first complete checkout (or, for free trials, the day the trial ends). Your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each cycle on the same calendar day, charging the payment method on file.
The renewal date and the next charge amount are visible at any time in Account → Billing in the app and on the receipt emailed after each successful charge.
3. Free trials
Some plans offer a free trial of [TRIAL_LENGTH_DAYS] days. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically converted to a paid subscription and charged the listed price. We send a reminder email at least [TRIAL_REMINDER_HOURS] hours before the first charge.
Only one trial per user. We may decline a trial if we detect prior use.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel a subscription at any time using any of these methods:
- Open the app → Account → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation is one click and takes effect immediately for future renewals.
- Email [SUPPORT_EMAIL] with the subject "Cancel subscription" and your account email.
After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of the current period unless legally required.
5. Price changes
We may change subscription prices. We will notify you by email at least [PRICE_CHANGE_NOTICE_DAYS] days before a price change takes effect. If you do not accept the new price you may cancel before it applies; otherwise the new price applies at your next renewal.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we will retry up to [RETRY_ATTEMPTS] times over the following [RETRY_WINDOW_DAYS] days. We will email you to update your payment method. If all retries fail, we will downgrade the account to the free tier.
7. Taxes
Listed prices may exclude or include taxes depending on your billing country. Where required we charge VAT, GST, or sales tax in addition to the listed price; the applicable amount is shown at checkout and on each receipt.
8. Refunds
Subscription refund eligibility is described in Refund & Cancellation Policy § 2.
9. California residents (Automatic Renewal Law)
In addition to the methods in section 4, California residents may cancel at any time by contacting [SUPPORT_EMAIL]. Auto-renewal terms, the cancellation policy, and pricing are presented at checkout in clear and conspicuous form, and affirmative consent is obtained at that time.
10. EU/EEA residents
The 14-day right of withdrawal applies to subscriptions until the digital service has begun to be supplied with your express prior consent. By starting your subscription you consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access begins.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms with at least [NOTICE_DAYS] days' notice. Continued use of the subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
