Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy describes when you can request a refund or cancel a purchase. It applies to all purchases made through WoW Toolbox and its in-app Shop, processed by Stripe. For subscription auto-renewal specifics, see also Subscription Terms.

1. One-time digital purchases (content packs, templates, add-ons)

1.1 Standard refund window

You may request a refund within [REFUND_WINDOW_DAYS] days of purchase if the item:

Outside the conditions above we generally do not refund a digital item once it has been downloaded, because we cannot verify it has been removed from your device.

1.3 EU/EEA right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. By clicking "Buy" or "Download" you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery begins. This consent is required for the Shop to deliver content immediately.

1.4 How to request a refund

Email [SUPPORT_EMAIL] with your order ID, the email used at checkout, and a short description of the issue. We respond within [SUPPORT_SLA_HOURS] hours.

2. Subscriptions

2.1 Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from Account → Billing in the app or by emailing [SUPPORT_EMAIL]. Cancellation stops future renewals — you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

2.2 Refunds for the current period

We do not pro-rate or refund partial subscription periods unless legally required. If we have made a material billing error, contact us and we will correct it.

2.3 Free trials

If a subscription includes a free trial, we will charge the listed price when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least [TRIAL_CANCEL_HOURS] hours before the trial ends. We will email you a reminder before billing begins.

2.4 Auto-renewal disclosure

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price until cancelled. Full disclosure is in the Subscription Terms.

3. Donations

Donations are final and non-refundable. They are voluntary contributions that fund development; they are not a purchase of goods or services and are not tax-deductible unless we explicitly state otherwise for a specific campaign. If a donation was made in error or by an unauthorised person, contact [SUPPORT_EMAIL] within [DONATION_DISPUTE_DAYS] days and we will review.

4. Contributor / creator earnings

Refunds issued to a buyer also reverse the corresponding payout share to the contributor who sold the item, in line with the Contributor & Creator Agreement.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank — most issues are faster to resolve directly. Chargebacks filed without first contacting support may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights under applicable law, including in the EU, UK, EEA, Australia, and California.

7. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Bank settlement times vary (typically 5–10 business days) and are outside our control.
